Before founding Pathfinder Attorneys, Zach Hansen built his foundation working in both engineering and law. With a degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a law degree from Seattle University School of Law, Zach gained valuable experience across personal injury, business law, real estate matters, estate planning, and civil disputes.
During this time, he realized something important: many firms focused more on volume than on people. Clients were often rushed, overlooked, or left without clear communication, treated like case files instead of real individuals with real concerns.
Zach believed legal services should be different. He wanted to create a firm where clients receive time, clarity, and genuine support, not pressure or confusion. Instead of taking on large numbers of cases, he chose to work closely with a smaller group of clients, giving each one the personal attention they deserve. Every person who walks through the door brings a unique situation, and Pathfinder Attorneys was built to honor that.
Today, Pathfinder Attorneys is known for its practical approach, clear guidance, and commitment to helping clients across Seattle, West Seattle, Burien, Tukwila, Renton, and surrounding areas make confident legal decisions. Zach continues to mentor others in the legal community by sharing insights on effective communication, case preparation, and solution-focused strategies that truly serve clients’ needs.

Our clients love how we make complex legal matters simple and stress-free. They trust us to protect their business and help it grow.
Zach has been handling personal injury cases for several years and has worked for some big-name firms. He is quite accomplished and knows how to handle insurance companies to get strong results for his clients. He also has trial experience and is not afraid to take matters to court to make sure his clients are properly taken care of. He is very easy-going and down-to-earth, but I would not want to go up against him in court because he truly knows the law and how to win.
I had an accident in the summer of 2024, and Wattel & York seriously made the whole process so easy. Mari Jo (the paralegal case manager) and Zach, one of the partners, were truly amazing. They kept me updated, answered all my questions, gave me great advice, were accommodating, and just made everything way less stressful. Super professional and really great people. I’d recommend them 1000% to anyone who needs is seeking their services, don’t even think twice!
Guiding you forward with honest, experienced, and reliable legal support across Seattle.
